Flow of Activities

~ We started the day with scrumptious breakfast at College and headed towards the only vulture sanctuary in India - "Ramadevarabetta Vulture Sanctuary" (Ramanagar). We went on a nature walk with Mr.Shashi and Rtr Krishnarjun, who were our guides. We spotted vultures in their nesting site with a telescope and when the vulture took off in the air, it was a sight worth the wait. Mr. Shashi, localite who have dedicated his life for vulture conservation and Rtr Krishnarjun enlightened us with a talk about importance of vultures in the ecosystem and the reasons for there current critically endangered conditions.

~ After the informative session we trekked Ramdevarabetta which was pure fun. Few Rotaractors also collected littered plastic n the way back. We came back to Shantiniketan College and had a wholesome lunch.

~ Post lunch we had poster making competition where the Rotractors learnt to use the Canva app to make posters. Winners were of competition were - RaC Koramangala (Overall), RaC JNC - Best offline poster, RaC Alliance University - Best online poster.

~ We also had a session on RYLA-TTT and showcase of the past projects as a video in the zone for past two months.

~ The Zonal Meet was a great success with participation from 7 clubs of our Zone Emerald - RaCK, RaC Shantiniketan, RaC Alliance University, RBW, RaC Jain University, RaC JNC, RaC GEMS. We hope that everyone had fun learning experience & event had given a platform for clubs to know each other well for joint Service in future..!!
