📜 Families from Mysore and Hassan arrived at their respective bus stops in Bangalore at around 10 am. They were received and was escorted to the venue. On the way they were treated with some yummy breakfast 🍳☕

The event kick started with a brief ice breaker session about India and Republic Day.

The main event was inaugurated with a patriotic song 🎶 which was followed by an emotional video on Indian Armed Forces 🎥 and a skit performance. 🇮🇳 All the families of the soldiers were introduced were felicitated. A sum of Rs. 24000 was also given to the families.

🏵 Felicitation was followed by a cultural segment, where the children and members had a dance off. 🕺🏻💃🏻 The children were also taught to play the National Anthem on flute, which was gifted to them; followed by scrumptious Lunch.

🍱 🇮🇳 Post lunch, all the members and the families went on a city tour to some iconic spots in Bangalore 🏛 and we finally had a fun Amusement Park visit at Bal Bhavan, Cubbon Park, where the families enjoyed on all the thrill rides.

🎢 Post which the families were dropped to Majestic to board their transport back home. ( Mysore and Hassan)

🚈 🇮🇳 Overall, the kids and elders as well as the members had an eventful and memorable celebration of Republic Day. 😇🤗

No one deserves the title of a 'hero' more than a soldier. A true essence of their sacrifice can only be realized if we have met their families The event was a huge success and we plan to do it again in a bigger scale to help the Martyrs' family in whatever was possible. 💂

A day to remember, a day to cherish. It was a day of service.
